We are responsible up to page 11 (page 11 is included) for the Russian midterm exam. Even though the teacher said that it's page 20, he made a correction. Therefore, just study until page 11.

Here is the presentation list of the next romantics courses. If the 1st group cannot be ready for the next course, we can postpone it.

Deadline of British Cultural History groups is changed. Send your British Cultural History groups and topics to me until tomorrow. I'll send the groups to Pelin Hoca.

Also, Romantics presentations are not compulsory anymore due to our crowded class. Please send me message if you want to make a presentation in Romantics Course. Groups of 7-8 people will make presentations each week. Send your group members until wednesday. Teacher will give the topics for this course.

- You can make presentations as volunteers
- Your presentations may be in groups or individually
- Your presentations will be about a novel or authors in our syllabus
- If you want to talk about novels, your maximum group number is 4; but for the authors, your maximum group number is 2.
- Send your name, surname, number, and your topic to Alper if you want to make presentation in 2 weeks.
- It'll add 10 additional points to your final exam grade.


Teaching Skills
- You'll make similar presentation as we did in the last term.
- This time you'll teach as you're in a high school, not an elementary school.
- We'll use the previous coursebook and a new coursebook, yet he didn't share it on facebook. I'll send it both to the group and the website when he shares on facebook.


Applied Linguistic & Basic Russian
- I'm still waiting for the documents. There's no any important thing for these courses.

Romantics & British Cultural History
- You'll make presentations as volunteers
- It'll add 15 additional points to your final exam grade.
- For Romantics course, your maximum group number is 3; and for the British Cultural History course, your minimum group number is 3 and maximum is 6
- You'll analyze poems and talk about it in the class in the Romantics course, but you musn't check any resources in the internet about the poem. It must be close reading. (Don't use ChatGPT, Wikipedia or any other resources. Just read it. Otherwise, she will give it 0)
- You'll talk about the topics below in the BCH course. The topic you choose must be related to British culture. You may use the book named "John Oakland - British Civilization_ An Introduction" (I sent it to the group and this website) as a source
- On Fridays (BCH), we'll give 35 minutes break 5 minutes before the firday pray. And then class will held until 14:30
- BCH course will be held on D101 in the Faculty of Letters
